I have been wanting to share this post with you all for quite some time, and now here it is. My wedding day has been one of the most important and special days of my life. And what better way to share the happiness of that day, than by writing this post on my blog.

I married early 2017- on February 15th, 2017 in New Delhi, India.

OUR WEDDING STORY

Peeyush and I met through an online platform in the August of 2016. We saw each other’s pictures, he texted me and we started talking. Soon our talks grew to 4-hour long conversations over the phone. He was in San Francisco, California and I was miles away in New Delhi, India.

It was at the end of October 2016 when I asked Peeyush to travel to India. He planned to come in the mid of December. On 18th December 2016, we went to a dinner date in the heart of Delhi- Asoka Hotel and ate some South Indian food (because I relished it).

That meeting ended and I drove home and he went back. All along the way, I was thinking, how was the meeting? When I returned home, my mom asked me, how did things go and I said, there was nothing wrong…

I knew that moment, for myself being so picky, I had gotten my Mr. Right. Peeyush was nothing over the top, he was like the simple, sweet, good chap that I was waiting for. I remember to think now, all that he ensured that day over dinner was that I had a good meal. And that is to be caring and sweet.

By December end, our families happily accepted our decision to marry “only one- another.” And came February 15th, 2017; our wedding day.
